One day I do some wash, and everything is fine. The next day (or two) later, when I go to do wash, I see about 4 inches of water in the tub. The wash cycle runs fine again, and everything seems normal, but 24-48 hours later the 4 inches of water is there again.
Sharon, sounds like the machine may have a faulty/ leaking solenoid fill valve. To check if this is the case, turn off water supply when tub empty, check the tub next day. If no water present then it is probably the solenoid. Call a good appliance Tech. have them diagnose and estimate repair.
