Chosen Solution
I have had my iphone 4 for a year, now when people call me there is no sound when I answer. However, when I put them on speaker phone I can hear them fine. I have tried others solutions- pushing on right bottom corner near home button, cleaning out earphone jack….nothing works
If it is that you can not hear the calling party, except on speakerphone, I would of course suggest a restore first. If the software settings are still not making a diffeence I would think it is time to replace your earpiece speaker.
