Solved Why Is There No Guide To Replace The Lighting Connector Ipad Mini 2 Wi Fi

On my ipad mini 2 a1489 i am replacing the battery and lighting connector and there is not a guide for the replacement of the lighting connector. Is that because the contact is not snap on and needs to be micro soldered ?

That is correct. If it need soldering there will be no guide.
