I’m replacing the charge port on the ipad and there’s no tutorial which sucks. I don’t know if I should connect the new port on the back of the motherboard a specific way, please help!
Hi Felix. That’s because it requires micro-soldering. Micro-soldering flexes is tricky because you can easily melt the flex so this is really beyond what a DIY fixer should handle. If you have the tools and skills to do this kind of work, then you don’t really need an iFixit guide ;>). Look for an experienced micro-solderer in our area.
