There is a small black hose that leads to the tube my air filter is in & the other end is on a cyndrilical metal like item…something to do with fuel I’m guessing. Gasoline comes out the end that goes into the tube that leads to my air filter, my car popped & started smoking the other day after I tried to start it, I took the air filter out, the small black hose off & plugged it up…help! What is the metal cylinder shaped item that the other end of the hose i’s hooked up to called? Thank you.
The only line that should be attached to the air intake is the pcv exhaust . Are you sure this has gas coming out or is it oil . you may need to replace the pcv valve if your getting excessive blow by. The cylindrical item is the PCV valve . Hope this helps
