There is a circle next to my home put. That seems to be edged in. I wondering if this will be a tip to a company not to accept the phone.

Someone put a long screw in the short hole which cuts through the paint finish and luckily did not crack the screen as a result of doing so. The home button bracket that covers the back of the home button assembly has 4 tri-wing screws that hold it in. Yeah the outer screen will have that circle when the inner screw pierce through the screen from the inside. I agree with ben. Long screw has been used instead of the original screw to hold down the home button.
