Chosen Solution
This is weird. I opened my iphone 5s to replace the screen. The phone opened fine but the screen itself seems way different to what I have seen in various youtube tutorials. Firstly, there’s no ribbon cable joining the home button to the screen. The home button is completely separate from it. Secondly, there’s no metal rails running along the side of the screen in my phone. Can anyone assist?
The frame is still inside the phone, you’ve just taken off the top half and not the whole screen. I’ll edit your pic and pop one up of what do to
