Chosen Solution

Every time I print now, the paper comes out half black so that I can’t read the doc. Was working fine until now but very frustrating. I am wondering if the machine can be fixed or do I need to replace it? Thanks

Hi @Nived Raj, Here’a link to the relevant page in the service manual which outlines the possible causes of your problem. Hopefully this is of some help

Have you tried another toner cartridge? Black print can be caused by several things such as a defective or leaky toner cartridge, paper scraps stuck in the imaging or fusing rollers.

If your issues persist, the problem is more likely to be due to supplies or hardware. If your printer’s fuser can be adjusted manually, check to see that it’s set properly but be aware: fusers get very hot so exercise caution.Check out your toner cartridges, imaging unit(s) and the fuser for damage.
