The IFIXIT teardown team hasn’t done the teardown’s on the newest iPads so its anyones guess on how Apple pulled it off. For such a thin iPad this year it’s quite impressive! It’s clear Apple has been putting more effort on sound quality generation to generation of the iPads and MacBook Pro’s. Update (11/12/2018) @sirtslker - It looks like we have an answer!
