Hi I have iphone 6 , stop suddenly. When I connect it to the power supply and turn it on, the Amps goes to almost 1 amp And the monory is overheating, can’t touch it .
This is a belated answer so hopefully it can be of use to folks who search for and find this question. The iPhone 6 should pull ~1A when charging so that may be normal, unless of course the battery is already fully charged. However, the memory IC (NAND) should not be “untouchably” hot. This could point to a short circuit within the NAND or any nearby circuitry. If you’re lucky, then the NAND may be undamaged but if it is damaged, then you will have lost all of the data. This type of failure can be repaired in certain circumstances by an experienced micro-solderer but as of today (June 2018) may not be economically viable on an iPhone 6.
