I replaced the battery with one I bought from ifixit and its overheating and it is not working properly does the battery need to break in? What is happening?
possible the battery has a defect. try a new battery and see if that corrects it.
The battery does not overheat, it’s your logic board. Maybe you damaged the logic board when replacing the battery.
