Did someone bang the screen? Often this is a sign of trauma. Sadly, the delicate electrical traces on the glass of the screen have been damaged. You could see if pressing on the screen at the edge at the line might help. Sometimes a bit of pressure allows the break to come back together enough to make electrical connection. If it does you might be able to fit a small piece of cardboard to press against the frame. Otherwise its time of a new TV as the cost of replacing the screen will likely be more that buying a newer model. Sorry ;-{
