HELLLLLPPP!!!! My iphone 6s fell into the toilet and nothing works on it. it will not charge, not turn on, not rebot. I’ve tried everything. right now it is in rice and it has benne like that for almost a whole day, and still nothing. When it fell, i made the mistake to put my phone into the oven to 30 degrees (86 f). it was working with minor damage before and after and then crashed. I really want to save it and i need so help. thanl you so much
Rice and/or putting it in an oven don’t actually help at all with water damage, it needs to be opened up and cleaned properly. Hopefully the repair shop you take it to know what they are doing and are able to properly clean it with an ultrasonic cleaner, however there are also likely to be damaged components which will need to be replaced as well so be prepared to pay a bit if you want it working again.
@zozo, the first thing to replace is battery, try if that works.
When phone dropped in water first you must switch of your iphone. And do not need to do anything but let it dry dont put in oven put it on sunlight. As due to water all internal circuit is shorted and many of hardware damages. I dont thing it is advicable to repair this iphone, i suggest to contact some iphone repairer and sell your mobile as per hardware part working. Even if you repair your iphone i dont thing it work smoothly.
