Hello. My Vizio (Model D39h - C0) started having problems where it did not turn on at all. The power cord is not damaged and there is no white or yellow led at the bottom. I looked at many youtube videos but they do not have the same model as me and I only have 1 motherboard on the tv. I was thinking it could possibly be the fuse but if so, I don’t which one is the fuse nor do I know how to replace it. I need help to find out what I need to do . Thanks!
Hi @jackkkkkkkk , As a start here’s a zoomed in image taken from your image of the mainboard showing where the AC input fuse is located. Zooming in made it too blurry to see if there is any fuse rating information printed on the board next to the fuse in case it has to be replaced. In any event to test it, the fuse needs to test short circuit i.e. 0.00Ω (zero Ohms) with an Ohmmeter, as this is the OK test for a fuse. An open circuit test i.e. OL on meter means that it is faulty. Be aware though if the fuse tests open circuit then there’s always a reason that it has failed and this will have to be further investigated. Maybe get two or three replacements just in case
