I bought a iPhone 7 Plus and I bought it as faulty as the screen was not working, so when I received it I got the screen replaced it started working fully then I repaired it I replaced the back housing which involves switching the motherboard after the repair when installing the screen back on there was a bit of adhesive on the the gold circles on the motherboard next to where the screen goes so I scratched the adhesive off with a screwdriver after that I installed the screen and the touch stopped working the phone turns but the touch does not work is there anyway I can fix this?

“Scratching”, “Screwdriver” and “Logic Board” are not three words that go well together when it comes to iPhones :>). I can’t really say I fully understand what you are referring to so perhaps you could add a picture to your post so that I can get a visual. However, I will say that based on your description, my fear is that you may have damaged the logic board. It could be a damaged connector or the tiny parts that surround the connectors. If you have a jewelers loupe or microscope (or just great young eyes!), take a closer look at the area you played around in to see if there is any signs of damage.

It could have internal damage. Apple also likes to screw with you because they don’t like people fixing there stuff for a reasonable price. So Apple will at times make things stop working or malfunction. Maybe check everything is where it should be and maybe try again. Or maybe get a new screen and try again. Hope that helps.

Was the adhesive u scraped just the black slimy stuff around the housing edges?? I think the first place to start would be to try a new screen, remember to carefully remove the original home button flex As minho said touch screen controller is on the screen itself, u could have done some other damage to the board as well but cheapest easiest and most logical course would be to try another screen first :) Obviously first check the connector for the screen is fully plugged in sometimes the longer connector which is for the actual screen itself doesn’t plug fully/ in so check thats firmly in first before trying a new screen
