I recently replaced the logic board on my iPhone 5s, and after I put it back together the sound is fuzzy and the phone no longer rings (only vibrates). Sound seems okay through the speaker or when I plug in earphones. Any idea what I might have screwed up?
The ringer sound comes through the same speaker as music so if you can hear one but not the other, then it isn’t a “speaker” problem. I would go back through the guide and double check my steps to see if everything is connected properly. Also inspect the flexes and connectors for partial damage. Also make sure you keep track of the screws, especially for the screen bracket.
