My laptop fell and the inches screw broke off its hold! Hence it’s lifting tray on that side of the laptop. So I decided to open it up to fix it since I have the knowledge of doing so! After fixing the inches and recoupling, I found out my screen display has color distortions; showing lines of colour, multiple colours and rounded colors like magenta, blue and etc. I have displayed the screen to an external monitor and it displayed FINE! Could this be the flex? Please I need an assistance asap! Thank you all!
Waheed, check your LVDS cable. Make sure that it is properly seated. Check this guide
