everytime I put it on the charger Apple logo appears then goes blank after 3 seconds then shows the red bars that indicates the phone is dead even after a whole nights charge
You could have a dead battery. However, it is better before assuming anything to tell us the history of this phone: You had it new or used? Are you using fake or original charger and cable? When did this issue start? Was it sometime or immediately after some incident such as bad drop, water spill, previous repair? Let us know.
