I recently replaced my iPhone 6s Plus screen and digitizer. i did everything right and my screen works perfectly fine. there’s a huge problem though, when i put my screen on all the way (like, to seal it shut) it turns black and unresponsive. i know my phone is still on and working. it vibrates when i call it or plug it in etc.. i don’t know what to do!
Check that the connectors are staying connected and did you replace all the screws to the proper holes . There are three different length screws and if you put them in the wrong spots you can damage the phone . Please refer to the guide at step 16 iPhone 6s Plus Screen Replacement Hope this helps
Guys. It’s the display cables. She..’s asking because it works, but surprised why there’s a problem, when the display is closed and the phone is “back together”. Sounds like a bad cable to me. Seen that happen. You’ll want to exchange it from where you got it from. Or get a refund, PayPal usually sides with the buyer. Then you could find a quality display It’s a woman! I’m 90% positive it’s a woman!
Try a hard reset. This is common. If that doesn’t work, double check the connections. If still black, testeith other screen. If that one works, you have a faulty screen.
