I just put a new screen on my iPhone 8 and I made sure it worked it did then I took it back off and did the seal around the phone then put the screen back on then I can’t see the screen unless I shine light across it the phone dose still work and vibrate and still works?
If you are seeing an image with the light on the screen than you have a backlight problem. There are three things that can cause this. 1. Faulty screen. 2. Connectors are not clean or seated properly. 3. Logic board issue. Make sure the LCD connector is clean and seated properly. If it is you will need to try a replacement screen. If it’s still the same you have a faulty component on the backlight circuit which will require a reputable repairer to fix.
