Chosen Solution
Hello, So recently after not being on my laptop for roughly a week, i decided to go turn it back on to do some work. But it didnt… The screen stayed black and all i got was power to the keyboard and the caps lock button flashing at 3 second intervals. Consistently, Like it will do that for hours. Ive drained the capacitors restarted it, and nothing. What happened ? I havent dropped it or anything. Ive taken it apart. Re-seated everything… Help ! Im thinking it may be in a boot cycle but i dont know….
If it’s just 1 flash of the caps lock light, it needs the CPU reseated or replaced. You mentioned reseating everything, so it looks like the CPU is faulty.
