I have a Husqvarna riding mower with a Briggs & Stratton motor model number 44 R877. The type number is 0 0 0 1 g 1 and the code is 14032 0 YG. I have checked the springs on my linkage and there is no visible damage they are not stretched in any way. And my throttle seems to be moving okay. And my Governor seems to be set correctly? Any ideas on what else it could be?
Could be a plugged needle valve. Have you tried spraying some cleaner into the carb with the air cleaner removed? Try removing the air cleaner, get you some carb cleaner and spray it in the carb while the engine is at idle. This should remove any buildup, and there is buildup, guaranteed, inside the needle valve assembly allowing the machine to run smooth. Also might want to remove the bowl on the bottom of the carb and clean it too.
