Replaced my screen with an iFixit screen, when I put everything back together, the screen flickers. I pulled it back apart and pulled the battery cable, but the screen continues to flicker after replacing it. If I re-install my original screen, I do not see this behavior. I followed the directions on the site step-by-step and didn’t have any problem other than when I turned it the screen flickers like crazy. Anyone have a solution?
More than likely you have a faulty part. This flickering is from a faulty back light IC. You may try to leave it charged in for a while and see if it goes away. I doubt it will as I have seen this behavior a lot before. The only way it was remedied was with a replacement.
