@kilty58 by the red light I assume you are talking about the power LED. You need to let us know what you have checked so far. You say you have to picture but are not telling us if you are having sound. Check to see if you still get the TV menu coming up. You also want to try a reset by unplugging every input source(i.e. HDMI, Coax, Composite etc.) then unplug the TV. Hold the power button for 30-60sec. Then plug the TV back in and try to turn it on. See if it shows anything. If this should not work, you will have to remove the back of your TV and check the wiring and all the boards carefully for any obvious damage. You will need a multimeter to measure various connectors etc. Post some good pictures of your boards so we can see what you see with your question.
