My phone was dropped and the screen was cracked and black. I replaced the screen myself, but when I tried to power it up, it would not turn on. I tried the force restart, but to no avail. Here’s the wrench: when I plug in the phone, the phone will buzz as if being charged and still will not show anything on the display. Thank you so much for the help.
Double check the LCD and touch screen ribbon cables to see if they are plugged in properly. Make sure to disconnect battery first before doing so. Improper installation (in result may end up with damaged ribbon cables) can be the reason why the screen isn’t showing display.
