janetstelnicki , It could be a software/App issue and a hard/factory reset may be what is needed. You can select your ZTE Phone model from the link below for instruction to hard reset it. Hard Reset will erase all of your data, back up info. prior unless it does not matter. Good luck. Try hard start, that is how CC told me but they seemed surprised over this problem, hold button down and will go off, then start and ringer volume is back, but I kept watching volume okay, just did again, still working will call again tomorrow. Check ringer in swings under Sound.
