Ever since I updated my software, my phone has been freezing. Why is that?
Has your screen ever been replaced? There was a situation early on with iOS 11 and aftermarket screens that caused freezing (you can read more about it here). It was mostly with the iPhone 6S but many iPhone 7 owners also complained about various issues. By now, with version 11.2.5, those issues should be eliminated but still, you never know with certain aftermarket screens. If data isn’t a concern, you could try to do a full DFU restore, which will download a fresh copy of the latest iOS and completely wipe your device prior to install.
