Ok so I have a 2013 Mitsubishi rvr. I’ve noticed over the last year or so that it doesn’t Rev like it used too. About a week ago it started revving over 3000 then told me to slow down and it kept reving at that even going slower. This is the second time it’s happened and I have no power going up hills. I do believe the transmission is going in it. Not sure on the cost to fix it. It could be computer or actually I have no idea. I took it in and got told everything is fine and I know for a fact it isn’t. Please help. Could it just be a transmission fuel change. Frick

Make sure you have the right amount of transmission fluid in the car or if its a standard then your looking at a clutch problem . If you are dealing with an automatic then making sure the fluid level is right is important and if it is low find the leak . Changing the trans fluid is always a good idea if you haven’t done it but understand if the damage is already done then the change wont help ,hope this helps

Hi I also have a 2013 lancer SE I think but my tranny fluids r good and I’m having the same issues if anyone has any idea what I could check that be very much appreciated
