I was just using this normally, it suddenly turned off and won’t turn on, I watched a few tutorials on how to fix this and a bit later i tried SMC Reset. It didn’t fix it but I found out that it works when plugged in. I looked at the battery icon and it said “Battery is not charging Power Source: Power Adapter” (When plugged in). Details I know: Mac can still read battery percentage Battery says it’s in good condition SMC Reset doesn’t work I haven’t spilled water on it (I saw an article like this but they spilled water, the difference is his MacBook charges the battery mine stays at exactly 41%) This has been dropped but it was working fine for about a week (This happened just today) That’s all the details I know that I think can help people understand the problem (and hopefully suggest a way to fix this) Thanks!

With battery percentage and “good” condition correctly reported by the system it seems to be a charging circuit issue. An alternative good working battery would be able to confirm if it’s a logic board fault but would cost you some money that would be in a way lost to get just a confirmation in return. That’s very much up to you to decide if you want to get a confirmation or prefer to invest in a repair that seems would be needed to get the Mac back in fully working condition.
