I have connected my device to a power cord and it is charging very slowly or not at all. What can I do to fix it?
There is a series of steps you can take to attempt to fix this issue.
- Press and hold the power key for 10 seconds to reboot the phone.
- If that does not work, try using a different outlet or a different charging cable.
- Next, you can try performing a hard reset on the phone. (Make sure to back up all your files as they may be lost in this process) Turn the power off.Press and hold the Power key and Volume Down key on the back of the phone.Release the Power key when the LG logo is displayed, then press and hold the Power key again.Release all keys when the factory hard reset screen is displayed.Press the Power key to continue or any of the Volume keys to cancel this process. Press the Power key one more time to confirm the reset. For other issues related to charging the LG G4, please refer to this Troubleshooting Guide: LG G4 Troubleshooting
I had the same issue with the LG Stylo 4; phone appeared to not be charging and would not power on. I remembered the trick of holding the power key on the right side and volume down on the left simultaneously, with charger plugged into phone. After about 20 seconds, it powered right up, showing a 100% charge. Performing the reset was not necessary, I allowed the phone to continue powering up once the LG logo appeared on screen. Once the power up completed, the phone ran as normal. Don’t perform the factory reset unless as a last resort.
Hi I Have The Same Problem, Too… What You Can Do is Take the case and the case that came with your phone too, and you will see a white battery, now take that battery and leave it next to a fan for 15 minutes. Make Sure the fan has no dust in it and has maximum power. After 15 Minutes, Take The Battery and give it a little shake here and there. Put The Battery Back in, and turn your phone back on. Thanks! ;P
hi i have the same problem it isn’t anything wrong with it except the charging port.the charging port of you press the USB port in to hard it starts breaking. note: it can easily be fixed by having a local company that fixes phones and tell them the problem.or you can fix it your self by getting a new port and taking the old one off and sadder it back in, that will screw somethings up if your not careful enough
Sometimes lint gets built up in the charging hole. Try removing it with a small object like a tack.
When i put my lg g4 stylus in charge it indicate that it is charging in the usb mobe and it is charging very slowly i have also change my plug but it has not fix
I tried this and it didn’t work my LG is dead and i cant charge it whenever I put my charger in while its plugged in with an outlet nothing happens and I cant seem to find how to open my phone to check the battery
My LG 4 was DEAD. Batteries were fine, but it would NOT turn on no matter what I did (all the above suggestions). However, I found a YouTube video where the fellow said that when ALL else failed, stick the phone in the freezer for 30 minutes. Yes, bizarre. It worked. Phone started up immediately and has been working ever since. Hope this helps someone.
Holy crap I put mine in the freezer for about an hour, lil more lil less, and did the soft reset and it totally worked!! My phone came on and is now currently charging . I hope it is completely fixed now. That would be fricken sweet.
Solved: I threw my lg stylo 4 $@$* against the wall I haven’t had another problem with it again.
