My LG Aristo just started not charged with my charging cord what can I do to fix this
Hi @ruzoc , Hopefully one of the suggestions below will help to resolve the problem Have you tried a different compatible charger? Have you tried a different charge cord? Have you tried connecting the phone to a known working USB port on a computer to see if it charges? Using a strong light and a magnifying glass check the phone’s micro USB charge port enclosure to ensure that all 5 pins are there. That they are straight and parallel with each other and that the enclosure is not blocked with lint or dust. If there is lint etc there, use a vacuum cleaner to suck it out. DO NOT use a metal pin or probe to try and clear it as you may damage the pins. If a vacuum cleaner cannot clear the obstruction, try gently using a wooden toothpick. Check that the phone’s USB port is not loose from the systemboard. To do this plug the charge cord into the phone only and then whilst firmly holding onto the phone, gently, stress very gently hold the plug of the cable and try to move it from side to side and up and down to check if you can ‘feel’ if there is any movement at all in the USB port. If there is movement then then phone will have to be opened so that this can be further investigated as to the actual problem. Here is a link to the ifixit LG Aristo MS210 Screen Replacement guide, which may be of some help in gaining access to the USB port. Is the phone still being ‘recognised’ when you connect it to a computer? If so then whilst it still may be a charge port problem it could also be a charging or battery problem in the phone as well. Again this would have to be further investigated as to the cause.
