I bought a fix it repair kit because the screen was shattered and would stop working randomly. Now that it is replaced the screen still wont work and still glitches.
Does the top of the screen have like a grey bar? If yes then the touch IC is most likely at fault and needs to be replaced. More Information here: http://www.mendonipadrehab.com/entries/g…
Ella, If you have done the repair yourself, though the house looks dirty.. if I was you, I’d grab a pipe cleaner and some Isopropyl. Dip the pipe cleaner inside and give a light rub across the terminals and make sure it’s clean when you reseat the touch ribbon to the logic board. ;x
