My laptop first did not turn on after connecting to the outlet. Then after waiting for sometime, it turned on. I kept it into sleep mode and unplugged it from the outlet. On the next day, I again connected it to the outlet. It showed red indicator light in the charging indicator. After some time, it just stopped that indicator and did not turned the laptop on any more. Is it the problem with power adapter or battery?
Turn off laptop, if not ready off, unplug the charger and take the battery out. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Now just plug in the charger and turn on. Does it start up? Yes then battery is probably dead or defective.
