I checked with another hard disk but shows the same warning and could not boot up entering the F8, F9, F10 or F12 keys to install windows from a flash disk.
Actually with two reasons were my laptop not working: My original hard disk has failedBios setup had locked the UEFI mode so that i couldn’t install windows. So i gave it to a technician and check it in the hardware part and unlock the UEFI mode and clean formatted it so as to work again.
A “No bootable device” error is a sign that your computer’s startup BIOS/UEFI did not find a device to use to load the operating system. Please try the following:
- Enter BIOS/UEFI setup by pressing F2 (or the Fn + F2 key combination) while the computer is booting. In BIOS/UEFI setup, make sure that your hard drive is first on the list of bootable devices.
- If your computer’s hard drive is indeed first on the list, then the problem may be originating from the hard drive itself. In this case, you may need to create a bootable USB by downloading a Windows 10 ISO image from the Microsoft website. You can then use this bootable USB to perform a startup repair for your computer, or you can use it to reinstall the operating system.
