Chosen Solution
I have replaced both the battery and the power board. The computer will turn on up to the login screen. The screen shows the battery is 100% charged and the charger light is green. It doesn’t appear that any of the keyboard keys are working. I have tried to reset the smc to no avail. Even the power button doesn’t want to do anything. I can “shut the computer down or restart it via the track pad” but there is no response from the keys. Thanks. To be sure I really couldn’t find anything giving me a reasonable idea of where the connector is so I took lots of pictures to provide an idea. I hope this helps. Dan you’re the best!!!!!!!!!!!!
