hi recently my iPhone stopped charging at all..i took it to a local mobile shop in Pakistan and they changed my charger and it started charging..then all of a sudden it stopped..it gave charging icon but the battery percentage was not increasing rather decreasing…then they told me to change the port…no i changed it and it is charging from only one side of the USB cable… i have tried different other cables as well and different other chargers too

Hello Basit. Can you explain what “charger” the repair shop replaced? I would also like you to explain what you mean by “it is charging from only one side of the USB cable”. Charging issues are either caused by a defective/dead/dying battery, faulty Lightning Charge Port or damage to the charge circuitry on the logic board. I will assume the shop replaced the Lightning Charge Port but this has not solved you problem. You should also download either coconutBattery (Mac) or 3uTools (Windows) to see the condition of the battery. Anything less than 70% of design capacity will require replacement. If the battery is in good condition and the charge port is replaced and you are using good quality (preferably Apple original), then the problem is likely on the logic board. This will require a micro-soldering repair.
