Hi! I’ve recently replaced the screen and the battery of this device. For some reason, after replacing the battery and the screen, the battery started to drain overnight from 100% to 0%. That’s not normal. Definitely not. Can’t set up alarms to wake up in the morning. What could be causing this? I have to use this iPhone 8, till I get my new iPhone 13. And somehow, the battery drains normally when using it. It drains without using it? ? Very interesting. Here’s a screenshot of my battery usage? Could it be related to the low signal I get?

These apps are most likely draining the battery. But why? I’m not even using them. The phone was in standby from 00:43. I don’t know when it died, but possibly around 04:00.

Could be an unhappy coincidence, but did you install an app just after the parts replacement? Typically battery drain is app/setting related (mostly app). Can be a dev screw up or malicious. You can check your battery usage by app Open Settings and swipe down to tap on Battery. You can choose to view battery stats from the last 24 hours or last 10 days.Swipe down to view battery usage by app. Check to see what is running . If you find something running in the background you feel you don’t want, turn it (them) off and see if that improves your battery life overnight. If it’s a 3rd party app, report your issue to the app author.
