I’ve had his phone for about 2 years and never once had this problem. This has been going on for a couple days now but it’s getting frustrating. My phone died close to 3 hours ago and I tried charging it right away. My phone hasn’t come back on yet but it says its charging. I don’t know what to do and I honestly dont have the money to get a new phone OR a new battery. I’ve tried changing USB cables, I’ve cleaned the port and everything else every website says to do. Someone please help, I’m about to flip my $@$*.
Either the charging port needs to be replaced or the Charging IC needs to be replaced. If it is the charging IC then only people that do micro-soldering can replace the Tristar charging chip. I recommend you take your phone to a mobile phone repair shop and get them to troubleshoot the phone for you as they will have replacement parts for the battery, charging port and etc.
