Hi everyone, so same as the title and my question is why is my iPhone 5S is only able to charge when the phone is off? And also it can’t sync to iTunes, it’s not even detected on the PC. Thanks before.
Possible, but less likely: Your charging port is bad. Good news, it’s cheap and relatively easy to replace by yourself. Also possible, and more likely: Your charging IC is bad. Good news, the part is cheap. Bad news, it requires microsoldering skills and (expensive) equipment which most people don’t have, and can be costly.
