My iPhone 5s will not charge, headphone jack doesn’t work, and touch id sensor won’t work. I am an experienced technician, and nothing like this has ever happened to me. This all happened after I did a complete housing replacement. After I completed the replacement, I realized none of these components worked and ordered a new dock flex. The new flex did not work either. The phone does not charge, but recognizes when it is being plugged in. Please help, thanks!
Did you get all your insulation strips back in place. Sounds a lot like its shorting out on the housing
Get under your microscope and find the board components you’ve damaged. I’d start looking around the stud screws (the ones you use a flat head to remove) around the dock and battery connector first. I would think this is unlikely a ground issue.
