It states on the screen ‘ipad not backed up this ipad hasn’t been backed up. Backups happen when this ipad is plugged in, locked and connected to wifi’ I have done that and its still will not slide open. What should I do? Please help me. Thank you.

You can try a reboot. Press and hold the ‘Home" button and the “ON/OFF” button at the same time and hold them until it restarts and you see the Apple Logo appear on the screen… then you can let go of the two buttons. This should “reset” your iPad and it should work properly.

I’ve done this before and it worked. How come it doesn’t work now? I could only notice that the screen brightens then turns black again

My iPad shuts itself off all the time. Any solutions?
