When my iPad air digitiser was smashed I tried replacing the it myself. The first time I reconnected the lcd it turned on after power was added to it. But when I disconnected it to connect the digitiser reconnect it the second time it didn’t work. Is this because the the iPad lcd has to be rebooted up with a dead iPad? Any information is helpful.
Did you unplug battery before unplugging or plugging the digitizer and LCD cable? If not then you may have blown an backlight filter. Try unplugging the battery and plugging it in again with the screen cables plugged in.
