The cooling fan doesn’t kick on when my ‘02 hondai sonata starts to ovr heat…what is wrong with it??
There could be a few different things wrong here . Lets get the obvious out of the way first. Is the fan motor done . this can be checked by jumping the fan wires directly from the battery If the fan doesn run then you need to replace it ,if the fan runs then move on to the next possible solution. . Check the fan fuses and the fan relay replace if necessary If this brings no joy then check your temperature sensor . If its not working then it cant signal the fan to kick on . Hope this helps
