Can anyone please tell me why my tractor is blowing white smoke?

@borgesjr77 your white smoke may actually be your engine burning excessive oil. Let us know if this just started or if anything happened to your mower. These are the most common reasons for white/blue smoke: Overfilling the crankcase with oil Incorrect oil grades Operating engine at greater than a 15 degree angle Inoperative crankcase breather Crankcase air leak Blown head gasket Worn cylinder and/or rings Turning/tilting the engine on its side for storage, oil change or any other reason. Let us know what you have checked so we can focus on giving you some more help.

Mine is blowing white smoke. I think my dad filled it too full with oil trying to help. I’m guessing it’s trying to burn off the excess oil? What can I do, unless it’s something else wrong? It was fine until he did this.

Drain off some oil and dip for correct level if this doesn’t cure it I would conside replacing the head gasket .I had a similar problem on my craftsman at the end of last year , I replaced the head gasket and it cured it , my local craftsman repair shop wanted €150 to do the job , I baught the gasket on line for €13 and fitted it myself in about 30 minutes ,fairly simple job , if your doing it yourself let me know and I will send you on the torque setting and the valve clearances .
