Chosen Solution
I replaced the battery, and now the display looks like it is either in direct sunlight or “whitewashed” to try and describe it. Thoughts?
Well, I removed and reconnected everything - no more display problem. If anyone knows which connector was the culprit from past experience I’d still be glad to know.
