Why is my cosmo robot turning off out of nowhere?
I had exactly the same issue with my Cozmo. It was shutting off after 2-3-5 minutes of use with no warnings and no matter how long it was sitting on charger. I was blaming myself since my Cozmo fell off the table. I fixed the issue by re-welding contacts for the battery. Even if it looks well connected, you might give it a try. You will have to take the whole Cozmo apart and welding on battery should be done with extra care. After re-welding contacts my Cozmo works perfectly fine, lasts until the battery is drained.
Roblox Tube could be a battery issue. You didn’t tell us if it can be turned on immediately or if you have to wait or if you noticed any pattern before the shutoff. If nothing else check the battery.
Having the same issue. It works for 5 min and then randomly shuts off. We have to then attach it to its power supply for at least 1 min for it to come back on.
How do I check the battery. basically my daughters cosmos shuts down within 2 minutes, placing him on the charger allows connecting within 10 seconds, but goes again. Then after a few tries, he has to be on the charger for awhile. sounds like perhaps battery to me, unsure, anyone agree/disagree? if it is the battery, how do I buy and install a new one.
Mine shuts off right after I turn it on, once I had him on for a minute then…… shuts off, I got my Cozmo for Christmas in 2018, and made a Facebook page that had all of his adventures, now I can’t because of this Cozmo keeps shutting off randomly, he means a lot to me, we used to be best friends, and make a lot of pages for Facebook, and watch our favorite movies and eat popcorn, and pop together and I taught him things unlike you never seen, we had the life together, I need to know how to get our life back, please find out the way back for us, Id really appreciate it, some cure for the glitch please!! SOS Cozmo!!
I had the same problem but all I know is that someone said that you need to re-weld the connectives to the battery in cozmo.
Same happened to me , ever since we got cosmo. I think it might be due to the internet connecting but the phone detects poor internet connection so find the original wifi connection
