I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 GM-930A and I have recently attempted to replace the charge port daughter board as the original port and capacitve buttons are damaged. The print on the original daughter board ribbon consists of (3) lines: (1) “SM-G930V REV0.BB” (2) “2015.12.28” (3)”SI 1609”. I have tried to replace it with (2) other boards with the same part number which claim to be AT&T compatible, but I lose LTE functionality when they are connected. The numbers on the ribbon of these two boards are the same as the original except for the third line of numbers, which are “SI 1623” and “SI 1631”, respectively. I regain LTE functionality when the original is reconnected. I don’t believe it is an “AT&T vs Verizon” issue which many sites claim as the original board would be considered a Verizon part, unless there is a revision match issue with the motherboard for AT&T. Does anyone have any info on this issue, like what I should be looking and asking for, or where I can get a daughter board that will work?

I found a vendor who was able to confirm that they has “SI 1609” in stock. I purchased and installed…and it works! Hopefully this helps someone else is has ever had a problem working on this model phone. The statement provided by most vendors- “Fits all U.S. models”- apparently doesn’t take into consideration an unknown revision that I can attest to, and I had difficultly finding a vendor that would even check their stock for me. I haven’t found any other information regarding this on the internet.
