My camera keeps telling me that my memory card is out of memory even though it is empty. How do I fix it?
@laney916 you did not tell us if you used the memory card in this camera before. You said that “it is empty” I assume that you have not used it. I would start by formatting it. Download your cameras manual from here. Check page 34 to start.
If its new camera and you don’t have a memory card inserted you will only be able to take 4 pictures and any additional picture after that you will get this message. Camera out of memory. So delete some of the 4 pictures and try again.
I figured out the issue everyone is having…
- I put the 16 GB Card in a few times making sure it got that “click” sound….
- Didn’t Work…
- I Put the Card in again but this time it didn’t “click”…
- I turned on the Camera it asked me to format the Card so I did and now it works just fine… So the problem is a connection problem with the pins and the “clicking mechanism”… *** If you Slide the Card in all the way with “no click” and the Card stays there then Success!! Hope this helps you all out…
