My VTech Kidizoom Action Cam does not charge when I plug it into my battery charger. What do I do so it will charge properly?
Please make sure that the master power switch on the bottom of the device is placed into the ‘off’ position for the device to charge. If the device still is not charging the USB cable or battery may be faulty. The Troubleshooting page may be able to help you further.
It will only charge off their usb cable, on any other micro usb lead the part that plugs into the camera is just to short. So it fits in but won’t start charging.
I had the charging problem with 2 watches, I decided to change the plug the USB was in from a fast charge to a normal charge and it worked, both charge fine hope this helps someone
The master power switch has to be on for it to charge and mine, I plugged it into the wall with the cable and the adapter, which is from another thing, and I haven’t seem to be the camera has not been working I plugged it in. It still works but doesn’t charge.
Also having the same trouble, plug it in to charge and it says ’turn on the battery switch before charging’. It says this whether i have switched underneath to either I or O. Any ideas please? Has anyone solved this problem?
