My AC/Heater fan in my 2009 Ford F-150 crew cab pickup does not blow air when the fan speed is set to 1 or 2. It only blows air for 30 seconds when the fan speed is set to 3 or 4 then is slowly blows less and less until it stops. If I turn the power off and wait for a few minutes it will begin to blow again, but only for 30 sec on speeds 3 or 4. The air is hot or cold. When it is blowing it is at normal volume until it begins to slow down and eventually stops. This problem started months ago and has gradually gotten worse with time. For example, when it first began, only speed control #1 didn’t work and then #2 stopped working and the length of time it would blow air has gradually decreased with time. I have replaced the relay switch and fuses and this did not correct the problem.

Mr. Churchill, your problem is likely the blower motor resister. This accessible on your truck through the glove box and should be held in place by 2 screws. Additionally, a bad switch or faulty wiring/connectors could cause similar issues. Let me know if you have any further questions and good luck with your repair!
